When two contrasting couples gather for dim sum with exciting news to share, the big announcement is overshadowed by a family emergency, a stubborn palate and a single chicken foot that makes this story hard to swallow. Through sharp dialogue and awkward silences, this film exposes themes of unchecked privilege, power imbalances, and cultural insensitivity.
